The sander takes the 5 inch hook back paper sand paper with vent holes which easily align to the base and stay firmly in place. The vent holed paper is preferred for the most efficient use of the dust extraction in the base which feeds into the high performance dust collection bag which can be hooked up to your shop vacuum.
